In BaseCraft, you must follow these rules or else you will be banned.
Griefing and Vandalism
In BaseCraft, we take Griefing and Vandalism very seriously. The punishments can range from a simple griefer status, to a jail to an IP Ban.
DO NOT GRIEF OR VANDALIZE ANY FORM OF PROPERTY.
- Destroying the work of another player is considered griefing and is not allowed in BaseCraft.
- Destroying the work of civil engineers (that is public property eg. Roads, Lighthouses, Hospitals etc.) is considered even more serious than the first point.
- Stealing a block or an item from a chest, another players building or public property is not allowed.
- If we get a "battleground", all form of griefing and PVP is allowed which is to say that you can kill other players and take their stuff or destroy their fortresses.
- If you share a house with another player, both housemates must agree on their own rules and their house is considered as owned by both of them.
Hacking and Third Party Tools
Mods and hacking programs are common amongst the Minecraft community especially in Single Player. Mods such as Zombe's Modpack, X-Ray hack and others can be harmful and could unstabilize the balance of our server economy and environment.
Read this carefully to ensure your mods do not breach our rules.
- Any form of fly hacking is forbidden. You may see Moderators and Administrators flying around however they are NOT players and are exempted from this rule.
- The MagicCarpet fun feature which are available to donators are allowed so do not worry about that.
- X-Ray mod is NOT allowed in our server. If you are caught using it, which won't happen of course, then all your items will be vaporized and your playing time will be wiped clean.
- Too many items will NOT work in our server. DONT ask about it.
- Mods that do not interfere with the operation of the game such as Zan's Minimap Mod are allowed.
Building Projects and Towns
Often there will be players who add to the aesthetics of our map and will work on a major building project or begin a new town. These rules will help in keeping their creations safe.
- If it is obvious that someone was working on a pixel art, a large building or a structure, then do not even attempt to go near it to avoid suspicions of being labeled as a griefer.
- Griefing a building project will result in an INSTANT BAN. Even destroying one wool from a pixel art or one stone from the foundations will result in a ban.
- Towns may be created by anybody however only towns that are built by an [Engineer] ranked player are allowed warps. Otherwise you must follow the more specific town guidelines in the forums to get your town a warp.
- If you want to build in a town, make sure to checkout the rules and double check with the Mayor if you can build in that town. Although you do not have to check (unless rules for that town specify), it is always best to ask before building to ensure your building does not get moved or deleted.
Respect, Players, Chat and Language
The purpose of BaseCraft is to provide a safe and enjoyable Minecraft Survival environment. This means that socializing and dealing with different players need to be revised so that no problems occur.
- Respect other players. If they ask you to leave their property, you must do so without hesitation.
- We will tolerate swearing and cussing however you must ensure that it is controlled. If a Moderator or another Player asks you to stop, then you must stop.
- Racism is one of the most serious offences on this server. Any form of racism will result in an instant IP Ban and lawful authorities may be contacted.
- Political, religious and sexual arguments should be kept down to a sensible standard.
- If you spam the chat and another player asks you to stop, then you must stop otherwise a moderator will mute you.
- Respect moderator decisions. If they send you to jail or give you a punishment, do not rebuke their decision. Submit a Ban Repeal ticket and we will revise it.
- English is our server language. Please refrain from spamming the chat box with a tonne of foreign language.

BaseCraft is managed by our team of Admins and Moderators who all play a part in making your gameplay experience more enjoyable!
- Our Forum rules are exactly the same as the ones for 'Respect, Players, Chat and Language'. Please abide to them when posting.
